Body

We utilize a number of body contouring options, including tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction, and body lift procedures, to help you achieve the shapely, defined figures you desire.

We work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your goals, breast augmentation, breast lift, facelift, blepharoplasty, or other surgical procedures may also be suggested. In addition, non-surgical options, including BOTOX® Cosmetic, laser hair removal, and more may be recommended to enhance the results of your cosmetic surgery.

Including

Tummy Tuck (abdominoplasty)

Many people strive for a flat and well-toned abdomen through exercise and weight control, however, sometimes these methods cannot achieve the expected results.  Even individuals with an otherwise normal body weight and proportion can develop an abdomen that protrudes or is loose and sagging from pregnancy, aging, significant fluctuations in weight, heredity, and prior surgery.

That is where abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck, can be utilized to provide an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer.  Abdominoplasty involves eliminating excess skin and fat tissue from the lower abdomen, the repositioning of muscle tissue so that it is firmer and more taut, and the repositioning of skin to reduce or eliminate sagging tissue.  However, this type of body contouring surgery is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program, but it can significantly refine the appearance of the lower abdomen and correct drooping skin and fat tissue.  Contact Dr. Laura Randolph or Dr. Paige Holt today to find out if this surgery is the right solution for you!

Liposuction

Despite good health and a reasonable level of health, some people may still have a body with fat deposits that are stubbornly resistant to diet and exercise; others may want to refine the shape of their thighs, arms, or belly.  Liposuction can help permanently remove fat cells from areas of the body where they have accumulated, helping to create a healthier-looking, more youthful profile.

Liposuction techniques employed by Dr. Laura Randolph and Dr. Paige Holt may be used to reduce localized deposits of the: thighs, hips and buttocks, abdomen and waist, upper arms, back, inner knee, chest area, cheeks including chin and neck, and/or calves and ankles.  In some cases, liposuction is performed alone, but in other cases it is used with plastic surgery procedures such as a facelift, breast reduction, or abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).  Contact Dr. Laura Randolph or Dr. Paige Holt today to set up a consultation to discuss your overall goals to see if liposuction is right for you!

Arm Lift (brachioplasty)

Fluctuations in weight, aging and even heredity can cause changes in appearance that are not expected nor desired.  One such change that can occur in the upper arms results in a droopy, sagging, batwing-like appearance, and although fitness may strengthen and improve the underlying muscle tone of the upper arm, it cannot eliminate excess skin that has lost its elasticity or underlying weakened tissues and localized fat deposits.

If the underside of the upper arms have developed sagging, droopy skin, or appears lose and full due to excess skin and fat, brachioplasty may be the answer. By surgically removing this excess skin and fat, the arms will appear more toned and proportionate in appearance, working to enhance a person’s self-confidence.  The best way to learn how this surgical procedure can help fulfill personal goals is to set up a consultation with Dr. Paige Holt or Dr. Laura Randolph today.

Medial Thigh Lift

If fitness and weight loss efforts have not achieved your goals for a body that is firmer, more youthful-looking and more proportionate to your overall body image, then a surgical thigh lift may be right for you.  This surgery reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body.

Do know that thigh lifts are not intended strictly for the removal of excess fat.  Liposuction alone can remove excess fat deposits where skin has good elasticity and is able to naturally conform to new body contours, and in some cases where skin elasticity is poor, a combination of liposuction and thigh lift techniques may be recommended.  Of course, all of this and more can be discussed in person with Dr. Paige Holt or Dr. Laura Randolph to find out the surgery that is right for you.

Fat Grafting (fat injections)

Fat grafting procedures transfer fat from areas in the body with excess fat, such as the outer thighs or abdomen, and injects it into areas that may be lacking in volume, such as the face (in facial creases, to fill in acne scars, or sunken areas of the face, lips and cheeks), hands (to add volume and “plump up” wrinkles or mask visible tendons and blood vessels), breasts (if considering a modest increase in breast size or to fill in irregularities during breast augmentation surgery), or buttock (to increase size and volume).  This is a safe, well-tolerated procedure that produces natural-looking results, and if you are in good health with a positive outlook and realistic expectations, you are likely a candidate for fat grafting.

Hand Surgery

If your hand is impaired in any way, surgery may improve your condition. This type of very specialized surgery can treat diseases that cause pain and impair the strength, function and flexibility of your wrist and fingers. Surgery seeks to restore to near normal the function of fingers and hands injured by trauma or to correct abnormalities that were present at birth. Specifically, hand surgery can treat:

Carpal tunnel syndrome – a condition caused by pressure to the median nerve within the wrist, or carpal tunnel. You might feel pain, a tingling sensation, numbness of the fingers, weakness or aching. Carpal tunnel syndrome is associated with multiple conditions including: repetitive motion or overuse, fluid retention during pregnancy, injury to the nerve in the carpal tunnel or rheumatoid arthritis.

Hand surgery is a highly individualized procedure which can be performed on people of any age and is a good option for you if:

  • You do not have additional medical conditions or other illnesses that may impair healing
  • You are a non-smoker
  • You have a positive outlook and realistic goals for your hand surgery
  • You are committed to following your plastic surgeon’s prescribed course of treatment
  • In some conditions, hand surgery is necessary to treat wounds and to help painful conditions

Breast

We meet with you to thoroughly discuss your goals and concerns, preparing a treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs. Our patients enjoy the confidence that comes with being in the hands of a skilled, caring professional with an eye for balance and beauty. Our expertise is essential when deciding factors like breast implant type, size, and placement, as well as incision location.

Including

Breast Enlargement (augmentation)

Breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, is a wonderful option for women who feel self-conscious about their bust line.  Utilizing either silicone- or saline-filled implants, breast augmentation results in an increase in the volume and the size of the breasts, refining their shape and/or elevating their position for a more youthful, feminine appearance.  Scars are also minimized and hidden from sight due to modern incision techniques, and the implants come in a variety of sizes and types for a natural look and feel.

One thing to keep in mind is that breast augmentation does not correct severely drooping breasts, so in order to achieve fuller, larger breasts AND to be lifted due to sagging, a breast lift can often be done at the same time as the augmentation or may require a separate operation.   This will be a decision that can be talked through and made at the time of consultation with Dr. Paige Holt or Dr. Laura Randolph.

Breast Lift (mastopexy)

Over time, the breasts begin to sag and lose their youthful shape and appearance due to the natural aging process, as well as other factors such as pregnancy or massive weight loss.  For women who are satisfied with the volume and size of their breasts, but not the profile, breast lift surgery, also known as mastopexy, may be a great solution to enhance the breasts.  Breast lift surgery entails elevating and repositioning the breasts (including the nipple and areola) through precise incisions which allow for the manipulation of breast tissue and skin to provide a breast profile that is more youthful and uplifted in appearance.

One thing to keep in mind is that breast lift surgery does not significantly change the size of the breast or round out the upper part of the breast.  Therefore, if fuller or smaller breasts are wanted, then a breast augmentation or breast reduction surgery might be a great solution to provide the look and feel desired.

Breast Reduction

Overly large breasts can definitely be a burden that can cause both health and emotional issues for some women.  In addition to self-image issues, the pain and discomfort caused from having overly large breasts can include back pain, a hunched posture, and stress injuries to the shoulders and upper extremities.

With breast reduction surgery, also known as reduction mammoplasty, excess breast fat, glandular tissue, and skin is removed to achieve a breast size in proportion to the rest of the body to alleviate stress on the back.  For many women, this surgery not only provides benefits to their physical health, but also their mental health.

Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction)

The condition of over-developed or enlarged breasts in men, called gynecomastia, is common in men of any age.  It can be the result of hormonal changes, hereditary conditions, disease, or the use of certain drugs.  But, no matter the cause, it can definitely be the source of self-image or emotional discomfort for some men, and may even keep them from taking part in certain physical activities and intimacy simply to hide their condition.

Plastic surgery to correct gynecomastia is technically called reduction mammoplasty and reduces breast size, flattening and enhancing the chest contours.  In severe cases of gynecomastia, the weight of excess skin tissue may cause the breasts to sag and stretch the areola; in these cases, the position and size of the areola can be surgically improved and excess skin may be reduced, and if excess fatty tissue is present, liposuction techniques may be used as well.

Male breast reduction surgery can definitely help to increase a man’s self-confidence and self-image.  Contact Dr. Laura Randolph or Dr. Paige Holt to find out if this surgery is the right solution for you!

Including

Face Lift

If you are bothered by signs of aging in your face, facelift surgery may be right for you. Technically known as rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck, such as:

  • Sagging in the midface
  • Deep creases below the lower eyelids
  • Deep creases along the nose extending to the corner of the mouth
  • Fat that has fallen or is displaced
  • Loss of muscle tone in the lower face may create jowls
  • Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw can make even a person of normal weight appear to have a double chin

Rejuvenation procedures typically performed in conjunction with a facelift are brow lift, to correct a sagging or deeply furrowed brow, and eyelid sugary to rejuvenate aging eyes.

Brow Lift

Whereas an eyelid lift (blepahroplasty) is intended to correct cosmetic flaws in the eyelids and the immediate area around the eyes, a brow lift addresses the eyebrows and the forehead. If you have deep wrinkles or facial lines in your forehead, or your brows droop over your eyes, a brow lift offers a potentially ideal solution.

For some individuals, minimally invasive alternatives such as BOTOX® may produce results that sufficiently meet their needs; however, if you wish to achieve more dramatic results, then facial cosmetic surgery, including a brow lift potentially in conjunction with an eyelid lift, may be necessary to achieve your personal expectations.  Contact Dr. Laura Randolph or Dr. Paige Holt today to set up a consultation to see discuss your options today.

Eyelid Lift (blepharoplasty)

Also known as blepharoplasty, an eyelid lift removes excess skin and fat tissue from the eyelids, eliminating drooping or sagging skin to revitalize the appearance of the eye area.  This type of facial rejuvenation surgery can have a profound impact on your appearance, erasing years from your appearance as the area around the eyes is among the first facial features to betray a person’s true age.

An eyelid lift is a highly individualized procedure, as with any cosmetic surgery, and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else’s desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image.  If you feel that an eyelid lift might be right for you, contact Dr. Laura Randolph or Dr. Paige Holt today to discuss your options firsthand.

Ear Pinning (otoplasty)

Ear surgery, also known as otoplasty, can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear.  It can also correct a defect in the ear structure that is present at birth that becomes apparent with development, or it can treat misshapen ears caused by injury.  If protruding or disfigured ears bother you or your child, you may consider ear surgery.

While ear surgery creates a natural shape to the ear, it also can bring balance and proportion to the ears and face, and the correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance and self-esteem.

Specifically, ear surgery can treat:

  • Overly large ears
  • Protruding ears occurring on one or both sides in varying degrees
  • Adult dissatisfaction with previous ear surgery

Ear surgery can be beneficial for both adults and children alike.  Good candidates are:

  • Healthy without a life-threatening illness or untreated, chronic ear infections
  • Generally at least 5-years old, or when a child’s ear cartilage is stable enough for correction
  • Cooperative and able to follow instructions
  • Able to communicate their feelings and do not voice objections when surgery is discussed
  • A non-smoker

Call Dr. Laura Randolph or Dr. Paige Holt today to set up a consultation to see if plastic surgery is the right solution for you or your child.

If you are hesitant to undergo a surgical procedure, or if you are able to satisfactorily achieve your aesthetic goals through non-invasive or minimally invasive means, the range of options may offer the exact solution that you’re seeking. These non-invasive treatments include injectables such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and Juvederm®, Voluma ™ XC, and Sculptra® Aesthetics. All of them provide an affordable, convenient and effective way to combat age lines, wrinkles, and loss of volume in the skin.

Including

BOTOX® Cosmetic

If you have wrinkles, age lines, crow’s feet, or other skin imperfections, BOTOX ® Cosmetic may be ideal for you. This injectable can be administered in less than an hour, yet produces results that can last for six months or longer.

It is one of the most popular skin care treatments offered thanks to its minimally-invasive nature and immediately-evident results.
